The main objective of the project was to create a user-friendly and efficient delivery management system that would empower store personnel to manage delivery orders, track delivery personnel, optimize routes, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
A local grocery store in tier 2 regions faces significant challenges in its manual delivery management system. The absence of real-time tracking, inefficient route planning, and lack of streamlined communication lead to delayed deliveries, customer complaints, and operational inefficiencies. To enhance delivery operations, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize resources, grocery store personnel seeks a modern, automated solution that can transform its delivery process and elevate the overall delivery experience.”
Since it is a self-initiated project I don't have metrics to show or find but a desirable outcome would be like the deployment of the delivery management system yielded remarkable outcomes for grocery stores. On-time delivery rates witnessed an impressive X% increase, accompanied by a substantial X% improvement in overall delivery efficiency. Customer satisfaction scores soared, with a staggering X% of customers expressing heightened satisfaction with the expedited and reliable delivery experience.
